Inspiration: Forlorn was initially inspired by the game Risk of Rain 2. Risk of Rain 2's gameplay is based on quick decisions during intense combat, which resonated with the concept of an immigrant having to make the same quick decisions while immigrating to a new location. Our goal was to give users a better insight on what the life of immigration is. You have to go through many challenges and complete many tasks in order to stay alive, and eventually escape the city you've been stuck within.
